Simulated/standardized patients

Simulated and standardized patients are trained by employees of the AUM, and are used in different forms:

- Standardized patients act in clinical practical examinations, the so-called OSCE, as well as in case development workshops to test exam scenarios.

- Simulated patients act in communication training and give feedback from the patient’s perspective. In film recordings, they can assume various different roles.

Several times a year, a three-stage casting takes place in order to accept suitable persons into our pool of simulated/standardized patients. Interested parties can have their names entered into a list.
